Kisses in the rain/angry kisses

Lita’s lips taste like rain water, and he’s momentarily worried he might bruise them as his anger flares up in him again and jerks her closer, no space between their bodies as his tongue slides past her lips.

She struggled for a moment, still angry, still mad with him for being so arrogant, for being so presumptuous to think she was here only for him, that she would ignore her friends, ignore her best friend just for him.

“You’re such a jackass,” she murmurs once they’ve pulled away from each other.

“I always knew you liked my ass, you keep mentioning it,” Chris wiggled his eyebrows.

Lita smacked him, trying to stay angry, but the joy in his blue eyes is too much and she melts against him again, this time in laughter.

“You don’t even have one,” she kisses him quickly and darts off, leaving him to follow.

Romance and general cuteness.

Stephanie was standing in the doorway of the nursery when he found her, seeming to hesitate about going in.

“What’s up?” Hunter asked, immediately on alert, wondering if there was something wrong with the baby until he saw her face. It was happiness, and pride, the same pride at being a parent which had left him “strutting around like peacock” as she had put it.

“Nothing,” she murmured, leaning back into him when his arms slid around her waist and she closed her eyes. “Sometimes it just doesn’t feel real.”

“Oh it’s real,” Hunter said in her ear. “They’re ours, forever. Just like you’re mine.”

“Forever.”

Cuteness, drinking, angst

“You don’t need him,” Chris told her, his words slurring slightly before he tossed back another drink. “You really don’t.”

Lita nodded solidly, sipping her drink. “I don’t, and you don’t need her, she sucks,” her words were beginning to slur and she leaned into him. “What do they know?” she asked, gesturing wide.
“Yeah what do they know?” Chris echoed, jerking his head in a nod.

“Nothing, that’s what they know!” Lita grinned, kissing his cheek. “They don’t know you’re hot, they don’t know that.”

Chris nodded, “and they don’t know you’ve got great curves, they don’t know that,” his arm slid around her shoulder.

“And nice lips,” Lita murmured, her words softer.

“Very nice,” Chris murmured, leaning down he pressed his lips to hers, the sounds of the bar around them fading away.

But Lita and Chris, they knew.

Angst, fluff, banter, arguments

Chris wrapped her in his arms. “I don’t wanna let you go,” he murmured into her hair. “I don’t want to.”

Lita sighed, wrapping her arms around his waist she leaned into him, closing her eyes. “I have to. I’ve got a tour.”

Jerking his head from side to side Chris disagreed, “cancel the tour,” he knew it was unreasonable, knew it was wrong to even ask.

“Chris,” Lita snapped, tears flooding her eyes abruptly and she lowered her head, refusing to let them fall as her chest grew tight. “Don’t do this.”

Chris sighed, pulling her back into him he kissed her temple, rubbing her back. “I don’t want you to forget me, forget this.”

Lita smiled weakly, kissing him softly on the lips. “How could I ever forget someone who makes me feel as good as you do?”

Chris returned the kiss, and released her, his shoulders tensed as he turned away slightly. “I’ll see you.”

“Of course,” Lita squeezed his hand and turned to walk away, dragging her suitcase behind her. Every step felt heavy, but she knew they would lighten, when she was on her way back to him.

angst, hurt/comfort, sadness but with a happy ending if possible

Alex maddens him, more than anyone else ever has. The two of them joke around, almost constantly but sometimes Chris would do anything to have him act serious for just one second.

Serious about his career, serious about risks taken. Serious about them.

Chris sighed, resting his head against the back of the couch as he sat in his living room, ignoring the fiftieth text message he’d gotten.

A knock on the door comes a while later and when he opens it he’s not surprised to see Alex there.
“What is your problem?” Alex asked, his voice loud. “I don’t take you seriously? Are you fucking kidding me?” he shoves past Chris into the house. “You text me that, TEXT ME for fuck’s sake and that’s the last I hear from you for two freaking days.”

Chris sighed, rubbing his forehead.

“I love you you you dumbass,” Alex told him, “and if you don’t see that maybe you don’t take me seriously.”

Chris’ eyes widened and he found himself in a kiss before he could blink. “Okay then,” he nodded.

“No more text messages, you’ve got a problem you take it up with me.”
